Terms of Service
Last updated: 23 August 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Anita Singh ("we", "us") for the Minnie app and this website. Installing or using Minnie means you accept them. They are written to be read, not to be survived.
What Minnie is
Minnie is a macOS application that gives an AI agent a voice, a face, and the ability to do work on your Mac. She is an interface to an AI agent — she is not the AI model herself, and the quality of what the agent produces is not something we control.
Your licence
A paid subscription grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Minnie on up to 3 Macs that you own or control, for as long as the subscription is active. You may not resell, sublicense, or redistribute the app or your licence key, and you may not remove or work around the licensing checks.
Trial, price and renewal
- Minnie includes a free trial, with no card required.
- After that, Minnie is $29 per year, billed annually and renewing automatically until you cancel.
- You can cancel any time. Cancelling stops the next renewal; your access continues to the end of the period you have already paid for.
- If a renewal payment fails we do not cut you off immediately — there is a grace period for the bank or card to sort itself out.
- We may change the price. An existing subscription keeps its price for the period already paid, and we will tell you before a change affects a renewal.
Refunds are covered by our Refund & Cancellation Policy — 30 days, no reason needed.
When the subscription ends
Minnie does not brick herself. When a trial or subscription ends she stops running agent tasks, but she still appears, listens, and speaks, and everything she has stored on your Mac stays exactly where it is. Nothing is deleted and nothing is held hostage.
What you are responsible for
This is the part that matters most, so it is not buried. Minnie runs an AI agent on your Mac outside the macOS App Sandbox, with access to your files and the ability to run commands. She asks before risky actions and shows you what she is about to do — but you can approve those actions, and once approved they run for real.
You are responsible for:
- What you ask Minnie to do, and what you approve when she asks.
- Keeping your own backups. An approved command can delete or overwrite files, and we cannot undo that.
- Having the rights to the files, accounts and tools you point her at.
- Your own accounts and API keys with AI, speech and tool providers, and complying with their terms.
- Using Minnie lawfully — not for anything illegal, not to attack or gain unauthorised access to systems, and not to build a competing product out of her.
AI output
AI agents get things wrong, confidently. Anything Minnie writes, summarises, or does can be inaccurate or unsuitable, and none of it is professional advice — legal, financial, medical or otherwise. Check work that matters before you rely on it, and be careful about approving actions you have not read.
Third-party services
Minnie connects to services you choose — AI providers, speech providers, and tools you connect over MCP. Those are governed by their own terms, we do not control them, and we are not responsible for what they do, what they charge, or whether they stay available. If a provider changes or disappears, parts of Minnie that depend on it may stop working.
Beta builds
Beta versions are provided as-is, may be unstable, carry an expiry date, and can be retired remotely when a newer build is required. Do not use a beta for anything you cannot afford to have go wrong.
Updates and changes
Minnie can download and install her own updates. Features may be added, changed or removed as the product develops. If we ever discontinue Minnie entirely, we will give notice and refund the unused part of any current subscription period.
Warranty
Minnie is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted or error-free operation. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions — where that is the case, this clause applies only as far as the law permits, and your statutory consumer rights are unaffected.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for lost data, lost profits or lost time. Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before it arose. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Ending the agreement
You can stop using Minnie and cancel at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are seriously or repeatedly broken — for example licence-key abuse or using Minnie to attack other systems. If we end your access for a reason that is not your breach, we refund the unused part of the period.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and its courts have jurisdiction over any dispute. If you are a consumer elsewhere, this does not remove protections you have under your own local law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as Minnie changes. The date at the top always says when. Continuing to use Minnie after a change means you accept the new version; if you do not, cancel and we will refund the unused part of your period.
